What is happening with the planes?

Maybe for the crisis, maybe because are to expensive and they have a lot of delays... but people don't take planes.

If you travel, can you tell how you do it? what transport you choose and why?

Help me to understand why airplanes have empty seats. There will be a lot for different reasons!

Graphic of meat consumption in the world

Hey!I make this graphic in which you can see teh countries that consume the most (in general) and they are Denmark, New Zeland, Luxemburg, Cyprus and US. Then I create a second graphic in which I selecet the countries that increase more their consumption of meat between 1969 and 2002. The most interesteing in this evolution are Cyprus, Denmark, Spain, Israel and St.Lucia.
I hope you interest this information! As always, if you have any request or recommendation, do it!

In this graphic we can see an analysis of four items that affects the society of Canada, China, Brazil and Colombia. There are four graphics and each one of them gives information of different aspects that influences those countries and their evolution. The first one analyse the 'annual number of birth in 2010' and we can see that China is in the top and Canada which has the lower percentage. In the second one the graphic is about the 'Intentional Homicide' in these four countries too and reflects that Colombia is always who has the most elevate number of homicides. In the third graphic is an 'avegare of annual population growth rate in total' and the last graphic instead of total gives information in a urban level. 

Christmas shopping

Nowadays society

Nowadays society is interested in superficial and trivial events instead of important news.
Who has the reponsability of this? Media. They are looking for success in their audience and now people pays more attention in yellow press and celebrities that what is happening in the world. Society wants to run away of their problems when watch tv or listen the radio so the bad news about the crisis for exemple develop a stressful thing. But the duty of media and journalists is to revive the spirit of curiosity about what happens in our environment. Take away the superficial information and make interesting the reality.
So, as a journalists, require people to have more sensibility with our real realities and believe in journalism because is the source that permits society to get in touch with all the world.
With this blog I pretend to inform people of different interesting items. I will make it more entertaining using graphics and giving specific data about them.
I hope you will improve and enjoy a lot!

My name is Alba and I'm studying journalism in Barcelona, in Abat Oliba University. I'm coursing the degree in Spanish and English and I would try to do it in English to reach and communicate to a higher audience. Due to I apologize in case my grammar is not perfect at all.
